GIANT RUTABAGA CRUSHES FASHION SQUARE MALL!!!

“It was an accident, I swear!” remarked farmer Al Vilanche, owner of Al’s Humoungus Rutabaga farm just west of Freeland.

“I knew I shouldn’t have tried to helicopter this thing to Bay City’s Annual Rutabaga Festival” he said as he kicked at the huge radishlike veggie crushing our beloved shopping mall.

“Luckily, the mall’s insurance claim covers crushing from a giant vegetable.” said Robin Shopurz, mall employee. “Why do you think we overcharge for everything!”

“Without Al’s famous big Rutabaga, the festival might have to be canceled”remarked fair organizer and cooking contest judge Stew Hotpot. “If you’ve been eating your carrots in hopes of eyeballing this year’s tomato I’m afraid we’ll just have to recrown last year’s Rutabaga Queen, Lotta Spudgum, so she might just turnip again!”
